I’m the Queen-Bee in the Shop! (However, I will do all my creating with my Beauteous assistant PoppyLocs.)

I’ve been creating and assisting with peoples dreadlock journeys for MANY moons and I cannot wait to be a part of yours. I started my own journey almost 8 years ago and I’ve never looked back. It was a day of universal intervention that sprouted the phrase “You are PURE fucking GOLD!”

If you are here, our paths have aligned and it’s divine timing my friend.

My name is Des, I started my loc journey about 4 years ago with braid-in synthetics. After going months re-installing them over and over, I knew it was time to take the plunge. I had always been the chick that had a different hair color, cut, or style every couple of months ever since I was a teenager. A huge aspect of the constant need to change it, was that I never felt “me”. But once I took the jump, I looked in the mirror and knew, “this is ME”.

Gold-E herself started my loc journey, and now our journey has grown to something beyond beautiful. I found myself within this journey, my confidence, my path, these connections, community, light, and now I want to be a part of that journey of yours, just as Gold-E was, and always will be a part of mind.
